Ebay watcher bot12/10/2023 To highlight that irrational behaviour in a nutshell. Well seeing as a seller wouldn't be able to know for a fact that it's happening because someone dislikes them, then surely from the fact they are resorting to having that thought though, that it's actually coming from their own insecuritys, or that maybe they go through life feeling a victim, or always think they are picked on, or that everyone that dislikes them. For someone on here to only wanna watch items of specific sellers, surely that means they would be doing so because they've got some kind of problem or dislike of that seller. It's not lacking logic! If it hasn't happened to me, (and I don't see anyone else saying it's happened to them either) then why would they only single you out? Or only single out certain individuals? It's not a question of it 'couldn't' happen to them, it's a question of 'why' has it happened to them. it magically hasn't happened to anyone? What sort of mad logic is that? ** watchers magically disappearing when names on here were 'eradicted' ** ROFL) is irrelevant.įeel free to argue further (by yourself) if you h mm. Anyone rational (with decent intelligence) will know what i've uncovered is tangibly factual.Īnd what you 'believe' (past the clear TESTED suppositions I've laid out i.e. Now, as respectfully as i can muster do not waste my time with that talent for verbose double- speak. it magically hasn't happened to anyone? What sort of mad logic is that? Wow, this place is a real trip.hence mere minutes spent on here now lol. (and iv been active on this forum lately, so if I havnt attracted any strange watchers from here, then why should you of personally done so?) I think you're just abit annoyed that you havnt sold anything lately, or that your watchers arnt buying, and you're trying to come up with answers, even if they arnt necessarily logical.īut in answer to your question, no i havnt! Any watchers I have, have remained the same. I dunno what you mean by saying, " I put it down to Ebay suddenly allowing you to market to anyone that viewed an item". You're clutching at straws aren't you to think that maybe the reason you've gained watchers is because of nosy people on here, or vindictive people playing games? Bit of a pointless rubbish game isn't it? What would they gain from that? Nothing I'd of thought! Pathetic as already been said as far as I know, you aren't able to go through to a watchers profile, it's just shows them as a scrambled username, which isn't click able. And nothing less than a cynical coercion for ebayers ‘to pay to promote’ their items… or else. I’m now about 3 days away from that (and currently have more watchers than views on 70% of my items! ) If that record is passed, it becomes far more likely that the bots ‘eradication’ is simply ebay deliberately restricting buyer views on our accounts. * The only remaining evaluation, is whether my previous ‘number of days without sales’ record is beaten after this ebay bot eradication. And the funniest thing? The two accounts ARE shortly going to be identified and severely dealt with – which will be just reward for people who can’t stand their online BS being exposed : ) That said, I feel it’s important to highlight the above, just in case others (actually needing to sell) are being subjected to such tactics. In the bigger scheme, selling was only a bit of fun on here anyway. It was initially annoying, but easily worked around once realised it’s likely other ebayers causing the problem, lol. I tested the situation further last night by re- listing around 30 items… and by early this morning one of the ‘watchers’ is back on ALL 30. My selling was fine enough with the bot* views ) So, at best, it seems I have some nosey muppets trying to play silly games… or, at worst, pettily vindictive individuals trying to make it more difficult to sell than it suddenly is (N.B. The strange thing is these weird watch number changes came after my interaction on this forum, lol. So I started checking who these watchers were and found the ‘watches’ were virtually all from two ebay accounts. And perhaps a ‘marketing’ move (due to ebayer uproar of seeing interest in their items drop by up to 90 % ? ) after the alleged ‘bot views’ were removed. I put it down to ebay suddenly allowing you to market to anyone that viewed an item. Now, after ebay’s ‘eradicate the bots’ view count changes, a couple of days later a ‘watch’ appeared on ALL my for sale items (with subsequent ‘send offer’ tabs also triggered). It’ll be interesting to know whether what is detailed below is isolated behaviour or being experienced amongst other ebayers.
